Computer Randomly Shuts Off!!!!?!?!??!

I have a AMD XP 1800 + with Windows 2000 my computer freezes up in Windows for no reason and when Im playing games such as Return to castle wolfinsten and Yuri's revenge it either turns the game off or restarts the computer randomly. And also when im playing Tiberiun sun it gives me errors any game I play shuts off and when im in windows doing somthing it just freezes up can anyone help me???
