When I try to run the Computer Management console nothing happens. I am a member of the Admin group and I have also logged in as THE Admin with the same results. Policy seems to allow Admins full control, any ideas? Thanks.
I get no messages at all. MMC will run, that's not what I need. I'm referring to the management console file compmgmt.msc in the System32 folder. I click on the shortcut, I click directly on the file, I go to Start/Run/compmgmt.msc, it's always the same; A little paging like it's going to run then nothing, no error messages, nothing in Task Manager to show it's running. If I try to open it through the Management Console, the PC hangs until I kill the Management Console with Task Manager.
