Hi everyone. My Win2k computer keeps rebooting on startup, it gets to "loading windows 2000" then reboots! But sometimes it works and lets me in, especially if i run safe mode first, then reboot into normal mode it works.

What is up with this?

Thanks

-Allan

This could be a lot of things. When it happened to me, it was my video driver not loading correctly.

I flashed my motherboard BIOS and it started working properly.

You may want to use the search slot at the top of this page. The archives of this forum have many answers for this problem.

It could also be that new virus. Download the new Microsoft patch. If the only way you can get in is through safe mode, you will have to make sure you have the proper LAN drivers loaded to use the internet and download the patch.
