Over the last couple months I have been receiving the same error on several machines and now I am receiving it on a server. The error is:
"The system could not log you onto this domain because the system's computer account in it's primary domain is missing"
Everything I have read indicate that I should rejoin the computer to the domain, however, this problem is becoming a huge pain and is increasing in frequency. Can anyone advise me on a permanent resolution to this problem.

Check for the active directory on the domain controller. if you are still unabel to do so, you can login in to the machines with chosing options menu while logging on and select "this computer" and then logon with local account and then check settings for networks which should have DNS entry as the address of the Domain controller. Hope that does.
