Hello everyone
I have just reinstalled Windows 2000 and there is one little thing I think is missing

I have an older programs (made for win9x) I want to run, but my system won't let me. Before I reinstalled I could create a shortcut, right click it, and in "Properties" select "Run in compatibility layer" and use, say, "Windows 98 compatibility layer", but not anymore. Does anyone know how to enable this option back? Any input is appreciated (except calls to downgrade to XP ;))

Thanks

Hi Denys

Start > Run
Type
regsvr32 C:\WINNT\apppatch\slayerui.dll

You should get a message that the dll was succesfully registered.

Then you should get a compatibility tab in Properties.
