I recently installed Windows 2000 Server on compaq deskpro that I bought in 2001. After installing, I see only 16 color on display/settings tab. How can I change it to 256 colors

The fact is that getting drivers is quite simple, butyou must know your deskpro version. Compaq issued dozens of Deskpro model over the years. Go to http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html Type your model number is the Textbox and be redirected to software available fr your PC (this should include drivers for your video-card).
