i don't want the compaq logo on my startup screen. i think it is embedded into the motherboard...how doi change it..or edit it :)

Yes You Can! But you need to edit the BIOS... There are ways... there's stuff on the Internet about it. A Google search can reveal a lot.

lol that is funny but there is a way i bet i upgraded my BIOS ROM im using a compaq you can download bios tools off compaq so if you can change the cmos menu with a program i bet you can change the screen.
