Command.com parameter

OS: Windows 2000 Pro SP 4
CPU/Ram: 1.8GHz/128Mb
Comment:

When booting to windows i get an error message about Command.com and it says that the parameter is incorrect.

Any help much appreciated

That's not a lot to go by, but try this.

Go here...

Download and install StartupCPL. This little program will allow you to disable/enable everything that starts up when you boot your computer.

Disable everything and reboot. If the error goes away, then it was something that you disabled. To pinpoint what it was, start enabling each one...one at a time, with a reboot between each one.

sorry about this, but it seems there was a virus on the system that could have been causing the problem.
