that's what my win2k says, when i want to copy a file....:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\files>xcopy 1.exe 2.exe
Does 2.exe specify a file name
or directory name on the target
(F = file, D = directory)?
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\files>

welll....but how's the parameter called, i've gotto give with the command "xcopy"....

THAT ANSWERS THIS QUESTION AUTOMATICALLY?`????

doesn't that work on a win2k-machine...??? isn't microsoft able to implementate a SIMPLE COPY TOOL????? on a os???

please help me

well, i've just found a solution....but not with "xccopy"....just with "copy"....here:


copy %source% %target% /Y

i've just read the whole help for "xcopy" on win2k, that is available....with no result,,,,


it seems impossible to do it with xcopy
