When i try to bring up the Win2k command prompt it 'flashes' up for about half a second then disapears again. Can anyone tell me why? I have a problem with the IP addresses on my machine and need to run ipconfig..

more than likely in the run box you are typing in command and the proper thing to type in is---- cmd ----- to bring up the command prompt in 2000

I bet you are typying ipconfig in the run line.

You can type cmd or command and get to the "black box command prompt" then type ipconfig.
