Does anyone know how i can delete a directory from the command line...apparently delete command only delets files and not folders

you should use the deltree cmd
ex > deltree d:\temp\ will delete \temp & subdirs.

deltree isn't available in win2k - use remove directory (RD or RMDIR) to delete folders. RD /? for usage.

You can use RD foldername /s
It will prompt Are you sure?
