j have installed win 2000 and my problem is whith serial port COM1 and COM2. the port in the control panel is whith this simbol ! .

Delet all devices with the yellow ! and reboot to let Win2K find them again and load the drivers.

Also check you BIOS settings, make sure that serial 1 and 2 are not set to "auto"
