Hi all, here is my problem. Recently bought a dlink 4 port switch use to link up my two computers. I assigned local ip for the two and as I plugged in the cable from the two machines and try to ping each other, I get request time out. What I see on the switch is flashing led (collision). I tried exactly the same setting, with my friend 3com switch, both can ping and see each other. is there anything I can do? is my switch spoilt? thanks for info.
