clearing search dropdowns

when i start to type in a word that i want to search, a list of words that begin with the 1st letter i type drops down with choices that i have already searched. how do i clear those search choices so they don't show up every time i search? i already deleted cookies and temp. internet files. thanks,

Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options>Content

Click on autocomplete and then click on clear forms.
