chkdsk for consistency

CPU/Ram: 4CPU1700MHz

I just started having this problem..whenever I start up computer, I get a message that says, "Disk C is NTFS" "And that one of my disks needs to be checked for consistency"
I let it ck everything, and then it goes into Windows......Fine!!
But this happens every time I start up
It wasn't doing this a week ago
Help!!!!

You do realize that WinXP and win2000 are two different operating systems. Both of them are based on the NT kernel.

You never answered my question concerning the ISO you bought. Are you still having issues when trying to use IE5?

Sorry Overhill....this is an HP Pavilion 7966...
..and the download I bought is from DIGITAL RIVER
yes, having trouble with 5.0

but these 2 questions are for 2 different computers

OK then, read the thread I linked above for this problem.

Update to IE6 for the other issue, if it is Win2000. That is the latest version that will work with Win2000.
