I've Googled about a dozen different combinations of words to try to find this one with no luck.
I'm looking for a way to change the size of the window that opens when you right click to save a file off the 'Net. I know I can drag it to any size that I want, but it would speed things up nicely for me if I could have it open to a larger size by default. Maybe a registry hack?

This program (WinSize) is great for that sort of thing and apparently it is OK for W2k:

It is the only program I've ever found that allows full screen view immediately when you right click an email in Outlook Express > Properties > Details > Message Source (that's W98SE IE6.1 - maybe W2k does this anyway).

... I can't be certain it will work for your particular situation but get your download Window up then activate WinSize and see if it shows it in the left pane. It works for one heck of a lot of things.

Note, with this program always use the Close box - the right corner X removes it from system tray until you reboot or activate the .exe file.

Very nice find, Derek - I'll be sure to post back to let you know what happens when I try it
Thanks!

Never did try it, Derek. After all these years, I finally found out that, if you don't close your browser, the Save As window (or whatever you call it) stays at whatever size you drag it to. But thanks for the response!

That's fine - thx for popping back to let us know.

By the way, if you ever try that program (for some other reason) you will probably have to poke a shortcut to the .exe in startup to get it to run.

It comes in handy if you have one of those machines that never seems to remember how you left things. Maybe WinME is better than my W98SE in that respect.
