CD-RW drive

I have a mustek 8x4x32x IDE CD-RW drive. It is set to slave, and my DVD-ROM drive is set to master. I just upgraded from windows 98, to 2000. The cd-rw drive worked fine on 98, but when I try to make a CD on 2000 I get a "SCSI/IDE" error. I am using both Nero Burning Rom, and Hotburn. Both give the same error. Is there something I need to get to be able to use my cd-rw drive in 2000? Before I make any more coasters, I thought I would ask here.

You need to copy some aspi drivers to your w2k. Go to Adaptec Site and look for aspichk.exe. This should get you started in the right direction.
