Either you haven't put the game DVD in the drive or the drive is having problems reading the disc.

Have you put the disc in the drive? If the disc is in the drive, is it dirty or scratched?

Ace07:

Maybe you just made a mistake, but throughout this you have beed calling your optical drive a cdrom drive. If in fact it is only a cdrom drive (not a combo or dvdrom drive) and you are trying to read a DVD, than it will not work. It was not designed to read DVDs.

I thought that as well but since he stated he gets the message 'please insert the correct dvd-rom,select ok and restart" I assumed he had it installed at some point and was clicking on an icon thus indicating it probably worked at some point.
