Can any one recommend some freeware or shareware to transfer cassettes and vynal records to a HDD as I have CDMATE which is really good for burning audio CD's from the HDD. Have tried Windows Sound Recorder with no luck. Have Roxio and cannot get it to work. Looking for a simple one operation program to record from sound card IN to HDD in .wav or .mp3. Thanks

"Groove Mechanic" will do what you want. Do a google search and download the version 2.4 Beta. If free and works fine, or you can buy the new version 2.5 for $40.00.
