I have an end-user who needs to be able to capture streaming-audio (a lecture) for future reference and save it as a file. Does anyone know how to do this?

Use a recording program such as musicmatch or total recorder to record while streaming and save it as a .wav file. Actually with musicmatch you have the option to save it directly as an mp3 file which uses much less disk space.
