I am running windows 2000 prof and i installed easy cd creator 5 platinum, but it refused to write my audio cds. so i checked their site and it says that it could be a conflict with my zip drive and so i need to uninstall the program, update the zip driver, and reinstall easy cd. im stuck at the uninstall because when i go to add/remove programs it runs the installer but freezes on the 'prepare to install' screen. i tried pressing change instead of remove and the 'prepare' screen dissapears and the add/remove programs task stops responding. i tried to run the installer off the cd and nothing happens after the 'prepare' screen. please help im sure someone must have had this same problem, my windows 2000 is a fresh installation and only has 3 programs on it, ive got 512 mb ram and a 1.2 ghz processor and 80 gig hard drive so i dont think the problem is resources at all. thank you.

try uninstalling in safe-mode/or maybe try shutting down all the ioware stuff-goodluck
cd creator 5 plat is junk in my opinon i always used and like there older programs 4.0 ect. ,but 5 plat was nothing but probs for me in w2k. like you were saying about zip probs also 3com nics (i've given up the program under w2k) - i'm all about nero now days less junk just does what it says and even costs less :)

try stopping al services except for ones essential to w2k. Then try removing it.
If that doesn't work, try installing easy cd 5 right on top of the current installation, thus replacing any corrupted files you may have.

I tried uninstalling ecd 5 and i can't. So I tried installing it again and it says: This language of this installation package is not supported by your system. Help how do I get it to uninstall or read the right language.

I'm having loads of problems with easy cd creator 5 platinum with windows 98se and windoes ME....now it wont uninstall
HELP !!!!
