Can't run norton av

i can't run norton av it shuts down after 10-20 seconds and my computer is runing verry slow

Try booting in safe mode and run the scan... If that doesn't work, do an online scan... Norton, Trand Micro etc all have online scans... There are viruses out there that will disable antivirus software...this might be the issue...
