Hi Again; I'm trying to do a detect and repair install of Windows 2K to ferrit out any problems (it's been over a year since my last reinstall) and whenever I try to boot to setup I get an error that syst32\ntoskrnl.exe has been corrupted and must be replaced. Why am I getting this error? Where can I find that file to replace it. How can I fix this? Does it have anything to do w/SP 4?

You should be able to copy it from %systemroot%\system32\dllcache. Also you can run "SFC /SCANNOW" (system file checker) from a command prompt to verify all of your protected system files.
