Anyone having problems with Win 2K PRO where they can't successfully reboot or shut down? When I go to do either one of these it starts the process but then hangs on a black screen with a flashing, white cursor.

have you got service pack 1 installed?..if not then it might solve your problem,if you have it might help installing it again, other than that a repair with the install disks is all i can suggest.has it ever shut down normally,

Rick et all,
Do you have EZCD installed with DirectCD? It makes a registry entry that causes the blinking cursor. Creator by itself causes no problems. Takes two reboots after uninstall to clear registry. All normal afterwards!!
