After downloading all the new Microsoft updates, I can’t open any links on my emails with outlook.
I have to forward them to my netscape email or another email I have (7-lion@myway.com) in order to open the link

Are they actually showing up as clickable links, or are they plain text?

Microsoft AntiSpyware killed my ability to open weblinks in emails or help files etc. (I confess I let it do it, since it claimed the registry key was an "Unknown Shell Exec hook", and I was getting rid of some malware).

Luckily I have two W2K machines, and was able to track down the missing key. Hopefully, restoring this is all that's needed in your case. Copy & paste the following into NOTEPAD, save as "URLhook.reg", and double-click on the saved file.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{AEB6717E-7E19-11d0-97EE-00C04FD91972}]
@="URL Exec Hook"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{AEB6717E-7E19-11d0-97EE-00C04FD91972}\InProcServer32]
@="shell32.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"
