cant logon to domain

i have a network setup of two pc, one running win2k server and the other one win98 as client, and are connected peer to peer. i have setup and install win2k, add domain user for the win98 user. however, when the win98 try to logon to win2k domain eg. user.com and it says "No domain available... ". the pc can ping each other. pls help. thanks

try not using .com in the domain.

thanks Sycil, but why? i have the dns in the win2k server set using something.com
how do i go about this pls help. thanks
