wel my friend just got Win 2k and we removed all users and passwords from the list, but it still asks for a user name and password though there is none Can he login as something were missin (guest doesnt work) and then create a new super user account

when you install win2000 for the first time, it creates an automatic admin account called "Administrator" if you log on using Administrator as your user name, and leave the password field blank (unless you entered in a password for admin during setup, use this password) you should be able to get into the machine.
if you cant, reinstall windows2000 from scratch! it's the only way you'll be able to get in.
