Subject: Can't load software
OS: Win 2000 Pro
CPU/Ram: P3 / 256
Comment:

I formatted HD, loaded Win 2000, and now I can't load software. I can download software from the Internet, but when I put CD in, I get diff. error msgs. Here are a list of the following error msgs.
1. Demo.exe - sys. can't find specified file
2. Program error - Demo32.exe has generated
errors and will be closed by Windows.
3. Program Error - Autoplay.exe had generate
errors and will be closed by Windows.
etc.
Help!

Can I load Win 2000 Server over Win 2000 Pro and make 2000 Pro go away?

Did you install any updates or Service Packs after the install? If not, you should do that...
