When I install the sp3 for 2k prof it is giving the error of Cyclic Redundancy check. but the same cd is working fine on the other machines for 2k prof, so help me out in this matter

There should be a prob with the cd or with the cd tray, better copy to harddisk then try to install.

Actually, the problem might be with Windows or with the hard disk. If the data is corrupt, you will get the CRC error. If the CD is working fine on the other machines, the problem is probably not the CD.
