I have an IBM V.90 56K Data/Fax Modem, which is a WinModem, and it works in Linux with no driver, and it works in Windows 9x and NT4 with a supplied driver. But no matter which driver I use (there's a Win2K one too), I cannot get it to work in Windows 2000. I am using the free trial version of Win2K. Please help if you can.

If the modem is supposed to workwith Windows 2000, try either installing Windows without the modem installed, then install it and see if Windows can detect it. Or else remove the card and stick it in a different slot and see if Windows can detect it.
If it isn't automatically detected either way, then try running the installation setup (if it has one). But ONLY use the Windows 2000 drives for it. You can also try going in and manually adding a new piece of hardware, choosing modems, and Have Disk (pointing that to your drivers).....
