I have two primary partition. One partition with XP Home. When I put the WIN 2000 cd it says I am trying to install older version and it disables the WIN 2000 Install. How do I get around this.

Be smarter then the machine. Don't try loading W2K from WITHIN xp. This is how you do it.
make a folder on c: called backup copy the files ntldr and ntdetect to this folder. make or get a boot diskette with cdrom support. Boot the diskette, access the cdrom drive with w2k on it and start the install. Once install is completed copy the files in the backup folder to the root of c: again. Now you can boot XP and W2K
If you don't want to do the boot disk you can set your bios to boot the w2k cdrom and do your install that way.

Thank you for your help. I was able to install win 2000 on second partition with XP Home on another partition. Now when I try to load XP I get an error message that systemd files is corrupted and to use recovery to fix it. I tried but it doesn't work. I heard that I need to modify ntldr. Do you know what I need to modify to fix the problem?
