Hi,
I certainly hope you can help!
I suddenly am being completely blocked out of hotmail! I have had a hotmail account for years, and suddenly this week, I am able access ANY other part of the internet, but cannot access my hotmail account...whether it be directly hotmail.com, or through msn.com, or through my 'favorites' link.
I can access msn.com...but the hotmail link on that page too brings up this SAME message:

Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

Earlier in the week we were having this same problem on our main computer too...being blocked out of hotmail, but after rebooting it a couple times, we were able to again access hotmail on that computer, and have had no problems since. SO...I can access hotmail and enter my password etc...on our main computer, but no matter WHAT we try on my laptop, it has suddenly become completely blocked and we can't get in!
Any ideas WHAT we can try? We figure it must be caused by a virus or something, but our AVG virus protector caught nothing on it's scans!
Please help...as this is a real PAIN!

Thank you for your responses!

YES, I have tried both using another browser...switched from internet explorer to firefox, and have also deleted cookies!

SO frustrating & odd that this suddenly happened. As I said, I can get anywhere else on the internet, just not into hotmail AT ALL!

Hi
I have exactly the same thing. I can get everywhere except Hotmail. It has been for a week? Did you find out how to fix it?
Any help much appreciated !

The error is below.
The webpage cannot be found
HTTP 400
Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

What you can try:
Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

Go to and look for the information you want.

Wish I could help you, but mine started working as quickly as it quit! We had problems with it for about 4 days, and now...we haven't at all...and it has been about 3 months!

Good Luck!

I've seen this happen a few times but all was well an hour later...I just wrote it off to a server problem at MSN.

With me, the problem spanned two versions of IE (6 & 8) and three versions of FF (1, 2 & 3) on 4 different machines.

That only leaves my ISP and MSN to wonder about.
