Comment:
I just got a computer. I need to change the administrator password. I can log into two very restricted accounts. I have read many other forums but none of them have helped me. I tried to use something I downloaded from one of the links from another forum about this subject but I couldn’t extract the files once I put the compressed folder onto the other system. Then I tried to make a boot disk for another attempt. The account restricted me from making a boot disk. I have nothing but the computer. Please help me. Thanks.

did you already try Offline NT Password & Registry Editor? do you have access to another computer where you can burn a CD and/or make floppies, etc?

If you just got the computer and nothing is on it data-wise, just insert the restore cd and reload the system from scratch.
