Comment: i have 2 os win me & win 2000. i use win me most of the time so i clicked on control panel>system>(the last tab option)> startup and recovery. and clicked on win me and 0 secs. now i can't get back to win 2000 the os choices doesn't show up anymore. is there a way to get into win 2000 control panel in win me. can any1 help me on this thanks

Reply: (edit)Kool: Assuming you were using the boot loader program from Windows 2000, load Windows ME, and then open notepad. Then from inside notepad, open the file boot.ini on the root of "C:" (this file may be hidden and/or read only, so you may have to change the attributes of the file first.) In the boot.ini file change the line that says "timeout=0" to whatever you want it in seconds, resave and reboot. Then you should have the Windows 2000 option again.
