CPU/Ram: pent 2 400 / 256 ram

Comment: I've got the following viruses and have been to symantec and to start was instructed to disable system restore, i followed the instructions but could not find the restore through control panel / system then it said "Click the Performance tab, and then click File System. The File System Properties dialog box appears". I don't seem to have the peformance tab that it states, can anyone help with this and any advise for the following viruses i have C:\msdos.exe is infected with Backdoor.Jeem
C:\WINNT\system32\llass.exe is infected with Backdoor.Trojan
C:\WINNT\system32\msrexe.exe is infected with Backdoor.Jeem

Reply: (edit)2000 does not have "system restore". Those files are not in "system restore" anyway. If Norton cannot quarentine/clean these trojans, I would get Agnitum's Tauscan for a free trail and use it to detect and clean these trojans. Have you noticed any unusual outgoing traffic requests through your firewall? Go to http://www.pcflank.com/ and use the scans to test your firewall and see what trojan vulnerabilities you might have. You can download Tauscan from PC Flank if you want.
