Hi,
i have the problem that i deleted a user in windows 2000 but the folder under c:\documents and settings ist still there and when i try to delete it i get a message like: {557A.........} cannot be deleted. Access denied. The file is probably open. (Sorry i have the german version of windows2000 so i had to translate it)
I'm logged in as Admin and i'm not trying to delete the admin account.

If you haven't done so already, reboot that machine. I've had this happen to me and a reboot usually takes care of it.
Good luck.

Hey people,
u cant delete a profile like that. Log in as an administrator (not as the user u want to delete). Now right click my computer and open the properties (system properties). Now go to the User Profiles tab and select the user whose profile u want to delete. Now click on delete and click yes on confirmation. Thats it!
