Dear all,
I used the router in my small network before, then my router was broken, and I want to access the internet with 1 of my computers. However it only can reconize the connection but can't get the IP address.
Thx a lot for solving my problem

Try a twisted cable to connect directly.

Most likely the mac address of the router is registered with provider. They will not allow access to another mac to prevent piracy.

Call your provider and have the mac address updated on your account.
