Comment:

I tried to upgrade my 98se to 2000,but when Win 2000 setup examins my hard drive it say that it is corrupted and that setup cannot continue.I run scandisk-doesn't help.I formated c: and tried a clean install-same thing: corrupted c: .Is there a way to fix my HDD,or I simply cannot instal win 2000 on it?
P.S.I upgraded to win XP a month ago,and had no problems with upgrade, but I removed it(my PC is not powerfull enough for smooth performance)
Please help

Are you sure that it is saying your C: drive is corrupted or one of the install files is corrupted? Perhaps a bad burn...
