well i have a laptop that got a virus from AOL. Aol sent a fix which supposley fixed the issue. well, lil random things are still happening. i seemed to get everything fix except i cannot open add/remove programs(from control panel OR from system32 appwiz) AND i cannot open a file with double clicking. i can click the file highlight it and then go file>open...and that works. i tried switching everythign to a single click and that didnt help. Google had no help soo im turning this over to the good ppl at Computing.net....

thanks in advanced

I would try running Ewido Anti-Malware. It sounds like you have some spyware.

It's a free download. However, it could be deeper than that.
