Right, I'm pulling my hair out here! please can someone help me, I had my sytem all installed fine, I've got an Abit KG7 mobo, with AMD ATHLON XP 1600, 512 RAM, two HDD's one 12gig (for OS) one 82gig (for crap) also a geforce 2mx graphics, network card and soundcard. Right thats all!!!! then I had a problem with the mobo, took it all apart, then re-built and it worked fine, but windows would stop loading at the end of the progress bar, so I tried re-installing windows 2000, it wouldnt work! then formated completely and still couldnt get and install to work then I tried to install xp, same thing, I have installed win 98! this is driving me mad!! any help I'd LOVE!!! thanks.

boot from the win2k cd and when it says 'press f6 to install scsi...' press f5 rapidly and then you should get a screen with 3 options. select the standard pc and install.

I've tried that, I should have mentioned I guess. after I press enter to start setup, it says "loading information file setupp.ini" then it doesnt go on from there, it just stops. any other suggestions?? thanks.
