Cannot copy path too deep

Two sights linked with ISDN can copy 3mb file no problem with 12Mb file (small name and from root to root) starts to copy get the a few bars then Message:
"Cannot copy XXX: The path is too deep"
Both sights SBS2000 sp1
Can anyone please HELP.......
