Cannot connect to the internet

I have a DELL poweredge 2450 server running win2k server. I changed the static IP address of the server yesterday as we changed ISP's. I could get on to the internet yesterday but today all of a sudden it is off the net. I can access other servers on the LAN but cannot get onto the net. I cannot FTP onto the server from outside. I cannot figure out what the problem is. The server has 3 network cards. I tried using the IP on all the three cards but I cannot go out on the internet. I can see the internal network though. I uninstalled the latest service pack but I still have the problem. Any suggestions?

it's gotta be your network settings... verify that you have the correct static ip entered if you were assigned one. Maybe your new isp uses DHCP? check that. check your gateway and net mask settings. then try to ping your new isp's gateway.... if that works try to ping something out on the net. try to ping yahoo.com.. then try to ping 66.218.71.198 (yahoo.com) if you get a reply with the latter and not the first you dns settings are wrong...

It is most weird. I just used the previous ISP's info (old IP, gateway etc) and tried to connect through the old ISP's router (our old connection is active till the month-end) and the internet works. However, when I assign the new IP's and try to use the new ISP's info, it does not work. The point is the rest of the servers did not have any migration problems. I assigned new IP's and they all work fine. It is only with this server. I double checked the IP info (all the IP's are static....so there is no question of DHCP), the gateway, subnet mask and DNS...Everything is fine. I am at my wits end...cant figure out what's wrong.

You say you have three network cards.... Which one is the internet connection hooked up to(lac1, lac2 or lac3)? Win2k can be funny when multiple network cards are installed.
You may need to check your bindings to make sure they are the same as the other servers as well.
