I am using Windows 2000 Professional and had Linksys Wireless networking set up. I was trying to get it to work today and have inadvertantly changed a setting in the networking/dialup. My ISP is AOL I find that i can connect with my modem to aol but it will not connect me to the WWW, I stay connected to AOL and can send and receive emails but as soon as i put a url in the browser it informs me i am not connected to the internet....Anyone any suggestions pleaseeee!!!

Doesn't matter - check you've got "Obtain an IP address..." and "obtain dns server..." selected, also more likely, "use default gateway..." set.

Here is the cure I used (I have the same Win 2k pro OS):

I called AOL and Road Runner and no one had an answer. Finally I reinstalled the Windows update 4 patch and it fixed the problem. I had tried all the other things mentioned and nothing worked.

I hope this helps.
