Comment:

I cannot access secure sites and suspect that was caused by the installation of Norton System Works 2005 or anorton Personal Firewall 2005. I have since removed both after much difficulty, but still have no access.
I have scanned for spyware, and virus infection with Avast.

Can anyone help?

Ditto here - last night all was fine, this mornign no go. I use XP. On an earlier forum (Ap 2004) someone mentioned opening port 443 - my windows firewall is turned off...I use Norton - issue?) If so, how do I open port 443.
Cheers.
