can ping but cant access network fi

hi a ihave 5 windwows 2000 pro machine...i have a problem with my one machine only... i can do ping , VNC but if i will access the shared folders error says"network path not found." i tried in DOS "net use ...." i got same error. im using the same login ... i think i dont have any problem with lan settings coz other four machines are work fine.. does anybody have an ideas?please share your know how..tnx a lot bro.

Did you check the IP address of that machine? Is it geting one and is it on the same subnet?

yes,i got the same address with 192.168.33.xx and my subnet 255.255.255.0. all are fine but still can't access my shared folder. i dont even have any firewall software installed. btw,how to disable firewall security for win2000pro? thanks again

Seems like you have a problem with the M$ networking components.
Go to the services msc and restart Computer Browser. Then Workstation.
If that doesn't work, reinstall the M$ client.

Do you have a Server to interconnect this machines? If it is, try delete the machine from the computers in Domain (in Server) and join to Domain again, be sure of the configuration of the DNS and WINS in machine with problem. Some similar happen to me and this work me.
