Subject: can not boot up to desktop.
OS: Win2000
CPU/Ram: P-3 500/128
Model/Manufacturer: Sony
Comment:
When I install Win2000 to my home pc, I never setup password, pc usually direct run to desktop.

Now while I turn on pc, pc run to win 2000, then keep ask me to enter password. But I don't have any password, so pc can not run to win2000 desktop.

I guess maybe I accidently detele some admin. account cause this problem ?

How I can fix this problem ?

Hit enter without typing in a password. Then change the account password to something you can remember.

Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

I hit enter without typing password, but error message said: password didn't match.

I don't know what is wrong.

I am having same problem, I just purchased a used computer and the owner does not remember any of the users passwords. I can't get to the desktop to do any changes. I dont have a os disk, nor any backup disks for the system. I just want in so I can change or delete the user accounts.
