|As alluded to above, the boot order has to be set correctly in the BIOS. The CD drive MUST be listed before the hard drive in the boot order. Once that's be checked & changed (if necessary), all you have to do is insert the XP disk in the drive, then boot the system. Watch the screen for the prompt "Press any key to boot from CD...". If you don't press a key in time, the system will bypas the CD & move on to the hard drive.|
