Hi,

I have IIS 5 and a cable internet connection on a windows 2000 platform. To use the IIS 5 as a local server, and access it using http://localhost I have to disconnect my cable connection. Is there any settings I can change to the IIS or my cable connction or something else so I don't have to do this.

Thanks in advance,
illusion

if you type in the ip address of your server in the browser instead of the hostname what happens?
