Hi,

I have a weird problem. A few days ago, my Internet Explorer (6 SP1) started claiming that there was a problem with the security certificate (that it had expired or is not yet valid) on *every* secure site. Also, at the same time, Outlook Express stopped writing emails I sent to the 'Sent Items' folder. The first doesn't bother me so much, as it's only one extra click. The second problem is a real nuisance. Has anyone else heard of this kind of problem ?

A friend of mine told me that this sounded like a corrupt registry kind of problem. Can anybody advise how I should set about fixing this ?

All the best,

My guess, would be to uninstall both programs, as your on win2k sp4 like me, IE isnt aviailible to uninstall from add/remove programs, you need to go into your HD and then into the program files folder, open the internet explorer folder, and select the uninstall exe from there. Try a reintsall then add IE6 SP1 again. If this doesnt slove the prob, then uinstall again, and use reg edit to remove ur IE registery values. As for outlook, try and uninstall, however IE and Outlook are linked programs, so one playing up can directly effect the other. Good Luck

Try removing Internet Explorer and Outlook Express with Eradicator. You can download it here: http://www.litepc.com/ieradicator.html
