Comment:

I have a 13gig hard drive partitoned between 8gig Windows 98 and 4gig
Windows 2000.

I installed Powerquest Boot Magic 6 so i can choose which operating system i
want to boot and this works fine but after i choose which one i want,
another Windows screen appears asking me which operating system i want.(
Boot.ini )

Is there a way of only using BootMagic because i prefer it features rather
than the default Windows screen.

Or is it safe to delete the boot.ini file.

Thanks in advance

Do not delete Boot.ini.
What yoyu will have to do is to remove the win98 choice in your boot.ini. Then you will not be promted to choose operating system twice.
